Company History

Our history is what shapes our future.

Eat-a-Burger is a mobile burger and fries joint located in Tucson, Arizona. It began operating in early April 2010, after a lot of effort by the two owners/operators: Jass and Sin.

The two spent hundreds of hours, and roughly 3 months to finish the renovation of their circa 1980 concession trailer. They purchased it from San Diego, where it sat near the beach for many years and it showed. Now, it receives accolades and praise for being one of the best looking mobile trailers in the Tucson area.

Jass is a Tucson native. He’s a former EFL teacher who taught English throughout Southeast Asia, Japan, and China for roughly 8 years. While in Thailand, he met his wife Sineenart (Sin). They returned to Tucson, in the fall of 2007.  Jass studied and became a NREMT certified Medic and briefly worked as a Health Director in Greenville, N.C., and Sin worked in local Tucson restaurants. She was previously a Chief Purser for United Airlines Bangkok base.

Unfortunately, they returned to the States at the onset of what was to be one of the worst recessions in American history.  Even with newly acquired skills, finding employment without current references and domestic experiences proved to be impossible for the two.  It was at this point where they decided to establish their own business and take fate by the reins.  A business plan was hatched, market research commenced, a location was selected, and the wheels started turning.

Neither of them have much experience in the way of being a restaurateur; however, it is this fact that has allowed them to think without being restricted by preconceived notions and norms of the restaurant industry. It is what makes their model that much more unique. The combination of  the facts that they have been out of the States for more than a decade, have traveled throughout the world, experienced many other cultures, and more equates to a unique service experience, unconventional delivery, and signature flavors.

Every burger is carefully crafted by Jass, and served with a smile from Sin.
